How bookings work on Local Maldives
  • Request-based bookings — submitting a booking sends a request to the property owner, who must approve it before it is confirmed.
  • Payments happen offline — all payments are made directly to the property owner outside this platform. Local Maldives does not process or hold payments.
  • Trust & verification — our role is to verify listings and hosts, and to provide a safe space for communication. We are not liable for payment disputes.
